Li-Ning is going to open its first corporate store in Spain, located in Barcelona. It is reportedly looking also at setting up a couple of factory outlets in the country. While working with L-Fashion Group of Finland in other European countries, the brand is covering Spain and Portugal through a licensee, LN Plus Iberoamérica. Run by Raúl de Pablo, the company is setting up a new office in Madrid but plans to have its logistics based in Barcelona. About 200 Spanish stores sell Li-Ning products at the moment. The brand sponsors two first-division football clubs, Malaga CF and Espanyol Barcelona, and Celta de Vigo, which plays in the second division. Additionally, Li-Ning sponsors two Spanish basketball clubs and the national basketball team.
