Like in other countries, women are in focus in the country down under. The Australian Sporting Goods Association (ASGA) has announced a new project worth 140,000 Australian dollars (€98,051-$106,918) to study trends in women's activewear, consumer sentiment in the category and its future. The project will take about nine months. It will be conducted by senior researchers at Victoria University's Institute of Sport, Exercise and Active Living (ISEAL), in collaboration with retail and brand experts from 10 Thousand Feet, which manages ASGA's market intelligence.
