Macron has announced a new four-year partnership with the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP). The agreement, starting from Jan. 1, 2023, will see the Italian teamwear company supply technical sportswear for all the national squads: Senior, Junior and 3x3, men and women. The referees involved in national competitions will also be wearing Macron technical clothing during the same four-year period. Additionally, a line of merchandise dedicated to all basketball fans will be developed and sold through Macron Sports Hubs, FIP stores and the macron.com and fip.it websites. Formed in 1921, FIP has represented Italian basketball for over a century. The Italian team has won the European Championships twice and boasts two Olympic silver medals. The partnership between Macron and FIP has been created in collaboration with Master Group Sport, which works alongside FIP as a commercial advisor.
