Macron will be the new technical kit partner of the Oxford United Football Club from the start of the 2022/23 season. The deal will see the Bologna-based sportswear firm produce the official kit and training wear for the club’s men’s, women’s and Academy teams until the summer of 2026. Furthermore, Macron has announced that it will be a volunteer staff technical partner at the European Championships Munich 2022, set to take place on August 11-21. Europe’s best athletes will be competing at the event’s second edition for the title of “European Champion” in athletics, cycling, gymnastics, beach volleyball, rowing, canoe sprint, sport climbing, table tennis, and triathlon. Macron will be present in Munich with a line of clothing dedicated to the staff of volunteers on each field of competition. Finally, Macron has announced an extension to its partnership with the Albanian Football Federation, which began in 2016, until 2027. The Albanian national team, currently managed by the Italian Edy Reja, was the first national football team to wear Macron sportswear. In addition to supplying the kit for the men’s and women’s national teams, the new contract also includes an option for Macron to provide technical sportswear to the youth teams of the football academies associated with the Federation.
