Barbarian F.C., one of the most famous names in rugby, has entered 2024 with a brand new partnership with Italian teamwear brand Macron.
The rugby club does not have its own clubhouse but is a global club at home wherever rugby is played. The club’s history began in 1890 and continues to this day, with players showcasing the passion, flair and world-class nature of rugby worldwide.
The “BaaBaas” invite an all-star team of players and coaches to every game, from international matches to club tours around the world. Pulling on the iconic black and white jerseys of Barbarian F.C. is said to be one of the highest honors in a rugby player’s career. The jersey is complemented by socks belonging to a club of the player’s choice – from current clubs to his first grassroots team.
The BaaBaas ethos is rooted in flair, courage, spirit and passion - words that exemplify the Barbarians’ mission: to celebrate the sport and the values it represents through world-class skills alongside integrity, friendship and fun and to create lifelong bonds between players, regardless of nationality, language or club.
The new kit will be worn for the first time at the Barbarians’ match against Fiji at Twickenham Stadium in London on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
