Maloja, the German sportswear brand, has opened new franchised stores with retail partners in several German cities. The first franchised store was opened in Obersdorf in Germany in 2016 and the second store in Wiesbaden in October last year. Another franchised store will be opened with a local retail partner in Dresden this summer. The company also aims to work with a new distributor in Russia, starting at the beginning of next year. Maloja was talking to potential distributors at the Ispo show in Munich. Maloja reported that its sales increased by 10-12 percent in 2017, as compared to the previous year. Sales in Asia account for 10 percent of the company's total turnover. Sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland represent roughly 60 percent of total sales, and the U.S. and Canada 10 percent. Sales in Scandinavia, France, Spain, the Benelux, Poland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic account for the rest.
