Many sporting goods retailers in various European countries have been opening stores specializing in the sale of sneakers in the past few years. A Swedish sports retailer, Stadium, has already opened two stores under the Sneakers Point banner in the Swedish cities of Norrköping and Malmö, as well as an e-commerce business. The concept will also be launched in Stockholm on Aug. 23. Sneakers from brands like The North Face, Napapijri and Kappa will be added to the retailer's product offering in the autumn.
