More than 200,000 visitors were counted at the increasing number of trade shows that took place during the Berlin Fashion Week from Jan. 17 to 19. Those that featured sporting goods brands were primarily Bright and Seek, but the Premium and Panorama shows also welcomed a few. More than 50,000 people visited Panorama. The Premium group has not yet published any visitor figures.

More than 250 brands presented their new autumn/winter 2017/18 collections at Bright, the leading European trade show for streetwear, sneakers and skateboarding, which was acquired by the Premium Group in July 2015. The 24th edition of Bright was held at Arena Berlin, the same location as Seek, the young fashion fair of Premium.

For the first time, visitors at the Arena Berlin were guided along a single path that included both Bright and Seek, aiming to showcase multiple sections through a joint presentation. Bright introduced a new booth design and was divided into key segments such as Bright Urban and the Accessories Area. It also featured a new outdoor segment co-curated by Outdoor Aesthetics, an online platform for outdoor enthusiasts with films, photography and test reports. According to the organizers of the show, the outdoor segment will be a key segment in the next years.

Brands that exhibited in the Outdoor Section at Bright included – among others – Alchemy Equipment, Garmin, Heimplanet, Leatherman, Snow Peak, Keen and Stanley. Other brands that presented their new autumn/winter 2017/18 collections at Bright were The Hundreds, Makia, New Balance Numeric, Vans, DC Shoes, DVS Shoes, Ecko, Magenta Skateboards and Levi's Skateboarding Collection.

Many of these brands previously exhibited at the Bread & Butter fashion show, which was taken over by Zalando in June 2015.

Diadora, Colmar, Dolomite and Jack Wolfskin showed new collections for autumn/winter 2017/18 at the Premium fashion fair, which took place at Station-Berlin. Jack Wolfskin presented Tech Lab, a new premium lifestyle brand that it showed for the first time in Berlin last June,

Premium also hosted the seventh edition of FashionTech Berlin, a format that combines conferences and an exhibition on the topic of the digitalization of fashion for the benefit of retailers, fashion industry insiders, designers and other experts from the tech sector and the start-up scene. Conferences were held on e-commerce and the future of retail, digital marketing and communication as well as wearables and smart textiles.

The organizers of Premium offered once again a joint ticketing system for Premium, Bright, Seek, the Green Showroom, the Ethical Fashion Show and Show & Order, simplifying attendance and drawing the events closer together. The next summer edition will take place on July 4-6.
