Marc Pinsard, a 45-year-old Frenchman who acts as deputy senior general manager in charge of the global brand marketing division of Asics, is the new chairman of CISO, the Committee on International Sports Organizations of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI). Fluent in French, English and Japanese, he worked previously for Babolat and Reebok. Since November 2013, he has been co-leading Asics' internal task force for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Pinsard takes the place of Wolfgang Schnellbügel, who left several months ago as managing director of Sport 2000 International. CISO works with the International Olympic Committee and other sports governing bodies.
