Marco Furlanis has left as Italian country manager of Amer Sports by common agreement. Alfredo Valle, Italian sales manager for Salomon, is taking on his responsibilities pending the recruitment of his successor. Furlanis became country manager at the beginning of 2005, when Amer Sports took of the distribution of Wilson, Atomic and Suunto from Promark. He had previous worked for Lotto and Prince, and spent two and a half years as general manager of Intersport Italia.
