Dominik Holzer is the new sales director Europe for Mares S.p.A. Rapallo. He is responsible for expanding the traditional snorkeling label Aquazone and the newly positioned swimming brand Zoggs Swim in the European direct markets of the Head subsidiary, which specializes in water sports. Holzer joins Mares with more than three decades of retail expertise in the swimming, diving and snorkeling segments. He previously held various senior positions at Aqualung Group, most recently as country manager DACH.
Since last year, Central and Southern Europe has become a focus as part of the company’s global expansion strategy, according to Gerald Skrobanek, Mares CEO and COO of Head Group. With its realigned Aquazone and Zoggs product portfolios, Mares aims to continue growing with its watersports-focused retail partners, he said.
