Messe München has decided to invest about one billion euros to build two new exhibition halls next to the existing C halls in its fairgrounds. They should come on-stream in mid-2018, meaning that they should be ready for the presentation of the autumn/winter 2019/20 collections at Ispo Munich. Meanwhile, the president of Messe München, Klaus Dittrich, is inviting industry managers to accompany him on a new expedition that should take him to the summit of Piz Bernina, near St. Moritz, in April. At 4,048 meters, it is the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps. Last September, he almost made it to the top of Mont Blanc together with Rolf Schmid, chief executive of the Mammut Sports Group.
