Michael D. Christensen has become the new general manager of Ecco for Central Europe, taking over from Frank Dissmann who had been responsible for the region since January 2017. He will work with new product manager for Central Europe, Christian Fischer, who comes from the Mammut Sports Group, replacing Annette Wächler who will serve as senior category manager in charge of Ecco's women's business at its head office in Denmark. Christensen has been with Ecco since 2002, when he started a five-year stint as regional sales director for Central and Eastern Europe. In 2014, he was made retail director as a member of the executive board of KRM, the company's retail arm. In February of last year, Christensen became commercial director in charge of global business development for Ecco, responsible for global sales and various important projects.
