Michael Tseng, president and chief executive of Merida Industry, is taking over from Tony Lo as chairman of the Taiwan Bicycle Association (TBA), after Lo retired from his job as chief executive of Giant Manufacturing last year. Lo had been the TBA's chairman for the last six years but the association's general assembly held on Dec. 23, voted for Tseng as a new chairman as well as 27 new directors and nine supervisors. As reported by Bike Europe, Lo said in a brief farewell speech that he was confident in the organization's ability to make headway under Tseng's guidance. Lo retired from Giant along with King Liu, the company's founder and chairman, to make way for a younger generation.
