Mizuno has announced that it will become the official sportswear partner of British Rowing. The deal will run until December 2020. The British Rowing team will use specially made and adapted Mizuno sportswear in training and competition, including a high performance all-in-one, a gym training kit, off-the-water teamwear and a range of accessories. The Japanese brand is also launching an official retail range of replica kits, to allow rowers and fans to show their support for the British Rowing Team and the sport. The range is available to pre-order exclusively via the British Rowing online shop, with orders that were made before Oct. 29 guaranteed to arrive in time for Christmas, the organization said. The partnership will also see the Japanese brand invest in research and development of on-water rowing kit to support British Rowing's Olympic and Paralympic high performance programs. Furthermore, Mizuno will support work to promote grassroots participation by creating a new range of rowing club kit for schools, universities and community clubs.
