Mizuno raised its turnover by about 5 percent for the three months until the end of December to ¥36,837 million (€ 358.6 m-$469.5m), and the multi-sports Japanese company reduced its net loss for the third quarter of its financial year to ¥102 million (€1m-$1.3m) – roughly halving the loss incurred in the same quarter the previous year.  For the first nine months of its financial year, Mizuno's sales firmed up by 3.2 percent to ¥114,888 million (€1,118.3m -$1,464.1m) and its net income jumped by 49 percent to ¥2,332 million (€22.7m-$29.7m). Sales were up in all business units in the Americas, while footwear drove the growth in Europe.
