Following on from the collaboration launch in March 2022, Puma and the Australian leak-proof apparel specialist Modibodi are launching the third drop of their active period underwear range.
The collaboration range aims to tackle the anxiety surrounding leaks that stop many people who menstruate from taking part in sports, especially where uniform or dress code requirements such as white shorts do not take into account the concerns of athletes on their period.
The Puma x Modibodi collection replaces the need for disposable pads, liners and tampons with an absorbent black lining designed to help prevent leaks and stains. Each pair of underwear features 3 layers of built-in technology that can hold the equivalent of up to 2-3 tampons, crafted from 82 percent recycled material, and an aerated mesh side panel to maximize airflow.
This latest drop is available in select Puma stores and the websites of both Puma and Modibodi in two-colour ways: Black/Platinum Grey and Black/Green.
The previous drop in October last year was also marked by a series of Period Pep Talks videos featuring female athletes and designed to encourage women and girls to stay in sports and address the problem of girls quitting sports due to periods.
