Moncler has launched an evolved Grenoble collection focused on dynamic, technical skiwear. The collection, named after the city where the 1968 Olympics were held and where the brand was the official supplier of the French national ski team, looks back on 70 years of brand history. Its launch is accompanied by a short film featuring Moncler Grenoble’s brand ambassador, French freeski pro Richard Permin. The film was shot by director Jonas Lindstroem on a Chilean glacial volcano. The campaign and new collection were unveiled in luxury ski resorts in Switzerland, France and the U.S. in early December, as well as in cities around the world, to be followed by a series of pop-up stores opening in the new year, including Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai. Grenoble has its roots in the outdoors and will expand its ski and performance apparel offerings to include a summer collection, the brand said.
