Munich has opened two stores, in the Spanish cities of Madrid and Girona, according to TradeSport and Palco23.
The brand has thereby raised the total of its own-stores to 32, with regular stores accounting for 19 and outlets for 13. Munich also runs one store for its vegan brand, Duuo, and 15 points of sale inside the stores of El Corte Inglés.
The new store in Madrid covers 130 sqm, the one in Girona 120 sqm. Both are the handiwork of interior designer Javier Jiménez Iniesta, of Studio Animal.
Munich derives more than half of its sales from Spain but expects to see 25 percent growth in Italy this year and has its eye on Latin America, where it has just entered Ecuador and plans to expand in Panama.
