Nautilus plans to integrate new digital health and fitness platforms across all its Bluetooth Smart-enabled fitness equipment. It is introducing the new Apple Health kit into its Bowflex Max Trainer this month and will follow with the new 616 line of cardio equipment. The company is also taking its first step in many years into the home equipment market for treadmills with new lines of Schwinn and Nautilus brand products. Nautilus reported a 79.9 percent jump in net income to $2,487,000 for the third quarter on 27.7 percent higher revenues of $59.1 million. The gross margin improved by 1.7 percentage points. The management indicated that Nautilus will likely exceed this a previous plan to double its revenues outside the U.S., mostly under the Nautilus brand. They grew by 42 percent to $37.4 million in 2013, but the majority landed in Canada.
