Net income jumped by 75.5 percent to 872 million yen (€8.5m-$11.1m) for Descente in its third fiscal quarter, ended Dec. 31. Revenues increased by 8.7 percent to ¥20.7 billion (€201.0m-$263.9m) for the period. Gross margins slipped by 0.8 percentage points to 45.0 percent, but the operating profit increased by 51.0 percent to ¥1.25 billion (€12.1m-$15.9m) thanks to cost-cutting.
