New Balance's sales soared by more than 20 percent to $3.3 billion last year, up from $2.93 billion the previous year, the company reported in an unrelated press release. The annual figure reportedly encompasses estimated sales by joint ventures and distributors, and they include sales from the group's secondary brands, from Dunham to PF Flyers, Aravon, Cobb Hill, Warrior Sports and Brine. The numbers were provided in a press release about New Balance's launch of the second annual New Balance Spark Start Global Volunteer Week. The company has enjoyed an impressive growth run in the last years, since sales reached $1.78 billion in 2010.
