POC, the Swedish manufacturer of ski and cycling helmets, goggles, protection and apparel, is optimizing its management structure in Switzerland. Jessica Negele, previously head of POC’s sales activities in Germany, has additionally taken over the position of Country Manager Switzerland on Jan. 1, 2024. She has been with the company since 2019 and manages a six-person sales team in Germany. Before POC, she worked for Evoc, Planet Sport and Ortovox, among others.
The focus in Switzerland is on intensified cooperation with brick-and-mortar retailers. In this context, the emphasis is on increasing the visibility and effectiveness of all POS presentation and marketing activities. Negele is looking forward to bringing fresh impetus to the Swiss sales team, which remains unchanged and consists of Patrick Rhyner (German-speaking western Switzerland) and Silvio Riederer (eastern Switzerland). Both have built up outstanding connections in the Swiss retail landscape since 2019. Thanks to the strong performance of the Swiss team, previously led by Fabian Graf, POC has achieved strong growth and market share gains in recent years.
According to the company, Negele’s appointment is a strategic move to consolidate its position in the Swiss and German markets and maximize its growth potential.
