Amann Group, a German manufacturer of high-quality sewing threads, embroidery threads and smart yarns, announced that Jochen Lagemann joined the company as global director of its business unit Apparel & Specialities on May 30, 2022. Lagemann gained textile experience at Nike, Marc O’Polo and W.L. Gore Associates. Over the past ten years, he helped position PrimaLoft as a leading ingredient brand, built its European and Asian business and implemented the global licensing business. In his new role at Amann, Lagemann will be responsible for managing and developing the Apparel business unit, reporting to the group’s CEO, Bodo Bölzle. Amann manufactures innovative functional yarns for various applications (apparel, footwear, automotive, consumer goods, industrial) with a clear focus on sustainability in vertical supply chain processes.
