Eager to continue to expand internationally, Fanatics has appointed a new licensing director, Younes Latayi, to drive its global licensing strategy and to manage its growing international portfolio of partners, maximizing their online and offline offerings. He will be based in Europe, reporting to Vicky Picca, Fanatics’ senior vice president for business affairs. Latayi’s appointment after Fanatics announced in June a 10-year mega-deal that expanded its existing partnership with the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) football club by acquiring new commerce and manufacturing rights. Latayi comes from Nike, where he managed the brand’s sponsorship of the PSG and the French Football Federation.
