Nick McInally, currently the marketing director of Callaway Golf for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is to going to be reassigned as of July 1 to the new position of European commercial director, heading up all sales activities throughout the EMEA region. McInally has been with the company since August 2009, coming from Nestlé. His successor in the marketing post is being sought.

The move will follow the departure of Timo Regier, who has been in charge of commercial operations in Continental Europe. Nobody will replace him in this position at Callaway. After 14 years with the company, Regier is going to over to LK International, the Swiss company that markets the Kjus brand of sports apparel, as reported in the last issue. The brand has put out its first golf apparel collection for the current selling season.

At the same time, a golf industry professional, Martin Wild, has been appointed as Callaway's new regional sales manager in the U.K. and Ireland, stepping in for Graham Martin, who is leaving the company

Wild and a bunch of other sales executives will all report to McInally. They will be Peter Wallgren, regional sales director for Northern Europe, Eastern Europe and distributor markets; Nicolas Girard and Emmanuel Gedouin, regional sales managers for Central and Southern Europe; Jenny Blamey, project manager for European sales; Helen Willsmer, European apparel and corporate sales manager; and Axel Kirchner, inside sales manager for Continental Europe.
