Following the launch of their first joint products last fall, Head and Porsche continue their successful collaboration. The second-generation Porsche | Head Ski Collection once includes two ski models, ski apparel, and equipment and picks up on the iconic design of the new 911 Dakar. The blue and white color scheme with red and gold stripes evokes memories of one of the greatest successes in the long and glorious history of the sports car manufacturer: In 1984, the Porsche team won the legendary Paris-Dakar rally with a modified, all-wheel-drive 911 (953) in these colors. Last November, Porsche presented the new 911 Dakar, reviving the myth of the most famous rally in racing history.

The expertise of two-time Olympic ski champion and Porsche brand ambassador Aksel Lund Svindal was again included in the new collection. The handcrafted Porsche 7 Series and Porsche 8 Series ski models are completely independent designs. According to Head, they are based in the premium segment and are almost equivalent to real racing skis in terms of the construction of their materials. However, thanks to their waist and overall softer tuning, they are aimed not only at speed fans but also at hobby skiers. To match the two ski models, there is also a head-to-toe accessories and clothing collection, including ski poles, helmet, bag, ski bag and technically sophisticated men’s apparel with PrimaLoft ThermoPlume, PrimaLoft Black padding and the IAM membrane developed by Head Sportswear – all PFC-free.
