New Wave Group reported a 21 percent increase in consolidated sales to 208 million Swedish kronor (€21.9m-$24.7m) for the second quarter, but 52 percent of the growth was attributed to currencies. The Sport & Leisure segment, which includes Craft, Cutter & Buck and the distribution of Speedo and Umbro in Scandinavia, raised its sales by 29 percent to SEK 522 million (€55.0m-$62.0m), with growth in the U.S. promotional channel. The segment's operating earnings (Ebitda) went up by 38.0 percent to SEK 10.9 million (€1.1m-$1.3m).
