Newell Brands, which recently closed its acquisition of Jarden Corp., on April 15, has announced it will establish a new global headquarters in Hoboken, New Jersey. The group has secured $27 million in tax incentives from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, which will help offset the costs associated with the new facility. The build out of the new headquarters is expected to allow for occupancy in the autumn of 2016. Newell will also continue to operate its current business hub in Atlanta while Jarden will continue to operate its offices in Norwalk, Connecticut and Boca Raton, Florida. The new headquarters in Hoboken will serve as a hub for the executive team, certain corporate functions and the company's Transformation Office, and will enable the company to continue expanding its global e-commerce and design teams.
