Nike celebrates Montebelluna craftsmanship

Nike has released a special iteration of its Tiempo football boot, the Tiempo Legend IX elite. It is handcrafted in Montebelluna, Italy. The boot is embellished with a small Italian flag as a tribute to the know-how of Italian shoemakers. The Tiempo Legend IX is worn by Sandro Tonali, the Italian midfielder who plays for AC Milan and the Italian national team. The city of Montebelluna, in the Italian province of Treviso and approximately 50km northwest of Venice, is also known as the Sportsystem district, an industrial cluster that gathers together more than 400 companies specializing in the production of technical sports footwear, from trekking boots to ski boots, motorbike boots, cycling shoes and more.
