Nike and Billie Eilish, the award-winning singer and songwriter, have re-imagined the Nike Air Force 1 (AF1) using the singer’s “environmentally preferred materials.” The entire shoe is made from 18 percent post-consumer recycled content. For the AF1, Eilish chose a synthetic nubuck material that uses 80 percent recycled materials. The singer’s signature oversized style is featured through the shoe’s chunky midfoot straps, which cover the shoe’s laces. The shoe is accompanied by an apparel capsule line that includes hoodie, sweatpants and T-shirt. All three garments follow Eilish’s signature oversized style and are embellished with subtle silicone Billie Eilish graphics. The Nike Air Force 1 Billie and related apparel will be released on April 25 globally. This second collection with Nike follows Eilish’s first sneaker collaboration with Jordan Brand in September 2021.
