Nike Golf has named Angus Moir to be its general manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA). As of Dec. 1, Moir will take up the position from Stan Grissinger, who has been promoted to director of international business development for the golf brand. Moir, 48, has been Emea sales director for almost three years, helping to increase both the top and bottom lines in all product categories. His career includes 17 years with Wilson Sporting Goods, where he acted among others as business director for Europe and as global business director. A native Scotsman, he went to university in Texas. As a golfer, he won the Scottish Amateur Championship in 1984. At Nike Golf, his foci will be on strengthening Nike Golf's position in the U.K. market and accelerating distribution, market share and revenue growth throughout EMEA.
