Nike has announced the appointment of Ann Hebert as vice-president of global sales. She will replace Mike Best, who has decided to retire after nearly 30 years with the brand. Hebert is another Nike veteran, with 23 years at the company. Most recently, she was general manager of Asia-Pacific and Latin America. Prior to that, she served as vice-president of the Global Nike Direct Partner business and led the North America sales team. Carl Grebert will succeed her and become the new general manager of Asia-Pacific and Latin America, a growing market that is today Nike's third-largest sales geographic area. Grebert is currently general manager of the Global Jordan Brand. He will take over the new role on Dec. 1. Prior to leading the Jordan brand, he was general manager of Young Athletes and before that, he was general manager of Nike Japan. Both Hebert and Grebert will report to Elliott Hill, Nike's president of consumer and marketplace.
