Nike has filed a lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), opposing its application for a U.S. trademark on the phrase “Just Bring It,” which would reportedly be used by WWE on various types of clothing. The phrase was made famous by a professional wrestler, Dwayne Johnson, also called “The Rock,” who has become a movie star. Under Armour struck a longterm partnership with Johnson last February. Nike claims that use of the phrase in such products would inevitably lead to confusion with its own “Just Do It” slogan.
