Nike has launched a new “Just Do It” marketing campaign in Germany. A spot for the campaign was recently filmed in Berlin and in the federal state of Brandenburg with 16 athletes taking part. Members of Nike+ received a preview on the Nike app before the launch. Nike will also be hosting a series of events for sports enthusiasts all over the country for a “Just Do It Sunday” on Nov. 10. For the occasion, the company is cooperating with Kickz, 11Teamsports, the Berlin Football Association (BFV), the German Athletics Association (DLV) and McFit gyms. To increase its engagement with local communities, Nike will be inviting users of the Nike Running Club and Nike Training Club apps to take part in an initiative with five schools in Berlin, organized in cooperation with the “Berlin Kickt” program, the associations Skatehall Berlin and Gangway, and the sports club Türkiyemspor Berlin 1978. Berlin is one of 12 key cities for Nike globally. Others include Tokyo, New York, Mexico City and Milan.
