Nike is launching the Phantom Luna, described by the brand as “the most innovative and researched women’s-led boot in company history.” The boot features a new traction pattern, named Nike Cyclone 360, which is said to improve rotational traction and help players move with agility and precision on the field. The Phantom Luna also features a new upper design, Nike Asym Fit, based on feedback from female footballers, providing a more snug fit around the ankle.
The Nike Phantom Luna Elite and Phantom Luna will be available starting late June 2023 at nike.com and select retailers. The boot is launching alongside this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will take place in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to Aug. 20.
