Nike is going to take the place of Adidas as the new official supplier of uniforms for the UK Athletics team next year, according to The Daily Telegraph. The report indicates that a court has rejected a claim by Adidas that challenged Nike's offer, arguing that it had a right to match it. The new deal is said to be worth more than US$23 million. It would last through 2020, including the 2017 World Athletic Championships in London. However, the U.K. team would still wear Adidas at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro due to a separate deal between Adidas and the British Olympic Association, which was renewed two years ago.
