Following on from a launch in Los Angeles in May 2022, the Nike Re-Creation program is being extended to London in April and Paris later this summer. The program collects local vintage and dead stock pieces and materials and uses them to create new, locally-designed and manufactured products per circular design principles.
The London collection is in collaboration with the London-based design project Greater Goods, founded by Jaimus Tailor, and will launch at NikeTown London with a one-of-one capsule collection of 25 pieces. A wider collection will debut later. The Paris chapter will feature a collaboration with Parisian designer Sarah Moh.
Every Nike Re-Creation collection is made up of limited-edition upcycled items, available only in the city they’re created in.
