Nike will open a new three-storey flagship store on Berlin's Traunzienstrasse on Feb. 14, calling it Nike Berlin. The 2,600-square-meter complex will have dedicated space for digital applications and for customization. It will also include a gym. Nike Berlin is taking the place of a former 3,500-sqm. Niketown on the same street of the German capital. Opened in 1999, it was the first of the kind in Europe, but it was closed last summer, reportedly because it was not profitable.
