Nike's sponsorship of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams has been extended until 2016. This mean the Swoosh will be outfitting the athletes for the Summer Olympics of 2012 and 2016 in London and Rio de Janeiro, and for the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. The deal includes footwear and apparel, including the outfits to be worn on the medal stand by the winners. Nike has been the U.S. Olympic sponsor since 2005.
