Ochsner Sport, the leading sporting goods retailer in Switzerland, is moving into Germany with a first store planned to open in the Glacis-Galerie of Neu Ulm in March. Ochsner Sport has 97 stores in Switzerland and is the licensee for Fila in many parts of Europe. Its sales grew in 2012 by 4.6 percent to 409 million Swiss francs (€331.7m-$453.7m). It is a subsidiary of Dosenbach-Ochsner, which is owned by Deichmann, the German-based company that is Europe's largest shoe retailer. It has a total of 2,900 stores in Europe and North Amrica.
