Ochsner Sport, the Swiss sporting goods retailer, is to open its first store in Germany this month, in the Glacis-Galerie in Neu-Ulm, according to a report filed by the Deichmann group, the big German shoe retailer that owns Dosenbach-Ochsner in Switzerland. Oddly, the opening in that shopping gallery has already been reported twice in the last two years, but it was confirmed last month in Deichmann's report on its annual results last month. Deichmann adds that the store in Neu-Ulm is part of a pilot project that initially calls for three Ochsner Sport stores to open in Germany.
