On is collaborating with Art Basel Miami Beach in a new initiative, Walks of Life. The project aims to bring running and art closer to as many people as possible, as well as promote On’s Cloudaway model and the addition of two new colorways and a limited Smokey Quartz version, released in November.
Taking place at Miami Beach over five days in November and December 2022, public art walks will be led by Dejha Carrington, VP of strategic communications at the YoungArts Foundation in Miami. Visitors can test out the Cloudaway and learn more about the background and context of selected public works of art.
On has also developed a digital platform that invites users into a surreal world of Sound Walks. Hosted at cloudaway.com, the 20-minute video and sound art recordings are intended to be experienced while walking to help the listener relax. They can be heard on a mobile device only if the user is in motion.
