On Running has announced its ongoing support of the Athlete Refugee Team (ART) with the launch of a new team kit ahead of the IAAF World Championship. Backed by the Tegla Loroupe Peace Foundation, which was formed by a world-champion marathon runner, Tegla Loroupe, ART enables athletes who have fled civil war in their homelands of Eritrea, Ethiopia and South Sudan to continue to compete internationally. On Running provides the team with shoes, gear and financial support. The uniform bears the slogan “We are all one,” the mantra of the team. Five ART athletes qualified for the world championships being held in London, including Kadar Omar (5,000 m men), Dominic Lokinyomo (1,500 m men), and Anjelina Nadai (1,500 m women).
