O'Neill has joined forces with Isko, the specialist in denim manufacturing, to create the first denim boardshort. The innovative swimwear, part of O'Neill's Hybrid range, is made with a lightweight version of Isko's patented Blue Skin denim fabric. During the production of the denim, the fabric is coated with O'Neill's Hyperdry treatment, applied though a padding process. The short's denim is said to be 50 percent lighter than traditional jeans fabric, and is water repellent thanks to the O'Neill Hyperdry treatment. The design features a lace-up waistband, side and back pockets and contrasting yellow stiching. The denim boardshort is part of O'Neill's spring/summer 2018 collection.
