The German software company Outtra has founded an expert advisory board that will meet quarterly to exchange ideas. Siegbert Müller, founder and managing director of Outtra, initiated the idea to further develop and enhance his company’s tools on an ongoing basis and offer additional effective benefits to all cooperating brands, retailers and users. In addition to Müller, the group includes Stefan Herzog, secretary general of vds and president of FEDAS, Stefan Rosenkranz, managing director of BSI and board member of FESI, Klaus Lehner, e-commerce expert and founder of Bergzeit.de, and Jochen Schnell, managing director of Schnell Consult Pforzheim GmbH.
Outtra offers an ecosystem for synergistic linking of specialty retailers with sports and outdoor brands. With the Where-To-Buy Local tool, for instance, the cooperating brands particularly support their local retailers. The user sees on the brands’ websites which local retailers in their region carry products from these brands in general and currently stock the desired product in particular. For retailers, participation is free. Additional tools such as the Outtra Data & Image Hub or the Outtra Product Lens enable easy data exchange between brands and retailers, so that enormous added value is created for all parties involved at this point as well.
“With Outtra, we have always been interested in adding value to the sports and outdoor industry with our solutions. That’s why I’m delighted that we’ve been able to attract proven industry experts to our advisory board in the form of Jochen Schnell, Klaus Lehner, Stefan Herzog and Stefan Rosenkranz. They will accompany us in our further development. The newly established advisory board aims to bring in the perspectives and impulses of the various market players so that we can continue to develop and present practical solutions and visions in the future,” says Müller.
