The second edition of Padel Trend Expo is kicking off on Jan. 19 at Allianz MiCo in Milan. The international event entirely dedicated to the sport of padel brings together industry operators to discover future trends and the latest innovations in the sport. In 2023, the inaugural edition of the show drew about 100 exhibitors and more than 18,000 visitors. It also generated an estimated €10 million in B2B contracts.
Padel Trend Expo is organized by Next Group along with the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation and the City of Milan.
This year’s edition of the event will showcase products and services from 145 exhibiting companies. It will also bring to the stage the first National Conference of Padel Traumatology, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20, from 10 am to 6 pm.
Padel has experienced exponential growth in Italy over the past few years. According to figures from the Mr Padel Paddle Observatory, padel is currently played by more than one million enthusiasts in 3,300 clubs across Italy. The number of courts jumped by more than 50 percent from 2021 to 2022, reaching around 8,000 courts.
