According to CMDsport, the Padel Village, not seen since its inaugural years of 2014 and 2015, is making a return at this year’s ISPO Munich, scheduled for Nov. 28-30.

The representative of the trade show in Spain, Martina Claus, believes that the market for pádel was at the time insufficiently mature, and is now hoping to see the original 25 exhibiting pádel brands at this year’s show. She made a pitch to the industry at the meeting of the Clúster Internacional del Pádel, on March 22 in Madrid. Babolat, Padel Technologies and Drop Shot had by then already signed on. The sport has now “reached a critical point,” Claus told CMDsport. “It shows great potential in all European markets, although some are more advanced than others. We believe now is the time to shift the focus to pádel.”

The Padel Village will likely be sharing space with the Health and Fitness segment of the show. It will have a pádel court in the center, sponsored by Padel Nuestro, with exhibitors ranging around it. There will also be a lounge for networking and events.
