The Paris 2024 Organising Committee has launched its Cultural Olympiad, a program in which art and sport enrich each other and interact with the Paris 2024 Games. The Cultural Olympiad explores the connections between art and athletics and the values they share of excellence, inclusion, cultural diversity and universalism, among others. In all French territories, a series of gatherings featuring artistic creation and using sport as a vector to access art will run from summer 2022 to September 2024. Artists, cultural institutions and sports organizations can apply to be part of this new program. The first call for projects was released on June 20. From September 2022, Paris 2024 will announce project endorsements and agreements with cultural operators at the end of each month. Calls for projects and participation are open to all artistic and cultural disciplines.
