Paris' revamped Forum des Halles, whose modernization and expansion is expected to cost around €1 billion, prominently features a new Nike store of 1,026 square meters under its new “canopy” roof and on one of its four corners. The store has dedicated areas for running, training, sportswear, men, women and young athletes. As a unique service in Europe, a “Nike Performance Stylist” helps customers find the right outfit, by appointment only. A bra-fitting service is available for women. Every Monday, 100 beginners are invited for an educational run, guided by a coach. The transformation of the centrally located shopping mall has also led Go Sport to renovate its local flagship store, covering 2,600 square meters and including for the first time a Bike+ area for bicycles. Adidas has a small footwear store there. New Balance will also have a presence soon.
